When you said it was a repost, I immediately scrolled down to see if I had liked it last year and of course I did, but I wish I could double like it! Actually reading it again helps because I was reminded of some things that edified me last year, and also got a new perspective on some of the things you had written. I think reposting things is really beneficial to your readers!

As far as Jesus being tempted in “every respect“ - when you think about it, every single temptation can be distilled down to the fact that Satan is trying to convince us of a lie, and to not believe the truth of God. So ‘every temptation’ is simply a lie. Jesus was tempted in every way because Satan‘s evil tricks always have the same MO, no matter what bitter fruit is produced from giving in.
